Humanitarian Corridor Opens From Dominican Republic

The U.N. peacekeeping mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) on Thursday said it welcomed the establishment of a humanitarian corridor between the Dominican Republic and Haiti, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
The corridor between the countries, which share the island of Hispaniola, will speed up delivery of aid to earthquake-ravaged Haiti, U.N. officials said.
