The British military's Foxhound vehicles brought to Iraq and Afghanistan keep breaking down, apparently because of the weather, says an army source cited by the BBC.
The Foxhound mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicle entered service in Afghanistan in 2012, replacing the lightly armored Snatch Land Rover, noted the Daily Telegraph (U.K.). It is designed to operate in the hot and dusty climate of Afghanistan's Helmand province.
