The Russian army has decided to stop using incendiary ammunition during training due to a period of extremely hot weather, reports RIA Novosti.
The prohibition also affects tracer and illumination rounds, said an army spokesman.
The dress code for troops has also been eased, allowing them to roll up their sleeves to their elbows and keep top buttons unbuttoned.
