Clashes between rival groups in neighboring villages in Nigeria's Rivers state have left dozens of people dead, This Day (Lagos) reports.
Factions from the Kegbara-Dere and Baranyowa-Dere villages fought on Christmas Day, leaving 18 people dead, six others wounded and 20 houses burned to the ground, said police.
Earlier this week, there was more violence. Several houses were burned and numerous casualties resulted, said police.
