The Russian navy has decided not to add new students to its naval academies this year, reports Interfax-AVN.
"The Admiral Kuznetsov Naval Academy and naval schools are not admitting students for the first time ever. This means, the navy will have no new lieutenants five years from now," said an unnamed source with the navy staff.
Admission is expected to resume in three years, the source said. The suspension may be related to the planned creation of a combined training center...
