A British ship that helps protect the Falkland Islands has been turned away from Brazil, reports the Daily Mail (U.K.).
HMS Clyde was forced to change course last week to Chile after being denied to make port at Rio de Janeiro, officials said.
London has interpreted this as a sign that new Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff is trying to curry favor with Argentina. She is slated to make her first official trip abroad next month to Buenos Aires.
