A U.S. drone strike in northwest Pakistan has killed an Al-Qaida operational commander, reports CNN.
Ilyas Kashmiri was killed Friday night in the Laman area of South Waziristan, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said Monday.
Kashmiri led the "Brigade 313" group of Harakat-ul-Jihad-Islami, which has close ties with Al-Qaida, according to officials.
