An Egyptian court has convicted 26 men of belonging to a Hezbollah cell and plotting attacks across the country, the New York Times reports.
The cell planned to attack Israeli tourists in the Sinai Peninsula and fire on ships passing through the Suez Canal, as well as smuggle weapons, supplies and people through tunnels to the Gaza Strip, said prosecutors.
