Heron UAVs Back In Air After Temporary Grounding

Australia's Heron unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have returned to flight status after being grounded for a day, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
Flight operations were suspended for 24 hours on Nov. 1 by MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), which owns the UAVs leased from Israel, as a precautionary measure pending advice from the manufacturer, Israel Aerospace Industries. The move followed a series of landing gear malfunctions.
