Hellfires Fired In U.K. For 1st Time During Joint Exercise

British army Apaches have fired Hellfires during military exercises off the coast of Scotland, reports the Ministry of Defense.
While the British military has used the Hellfire in Afghanistan and Libya, this was the first time the anti-armor missile was fired live in the U.K., said the Royal Navy, as cited by the BBC.
Two helicopters from 656 Squadron Army Air Corps fired one Hellfire each at targets placed by HMS Illustrious during Joint Warrior war games, said officials. ...
