Helena Sub Arrives At New Homeport In Norfolk

The Los Angeles-class attack submarine Helena has arrived at its new homeport at Norfolk Naval Station, Va., reports the Virginian-Pilot (Hampton Roads).

The submarine was previously homeported in San Diego.

Before her arrival on Wednesday in Norfolk, Helena completed a 20-month engineering overhaul at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.
