Held For 20 Months By Pirates, South African Couple Freed

Somalia's defense minister says a couple held by Somali pirates for 20 months have been released, reports the Boston-based Global Post.

Bruno Pelizzari, an Italian national, and Debbie Calitz, a South African, were taken hostage in October 2010 as their yacht sailed toward the Mozambique channel. The boat's captain refused to leave the yacht and was rescued by the E.U. anti-piracy taskforce.
