Heavy-Lift Russian Transports Land In Latakia, Say U.S. Officials

Russian military transport aircraft have landed repeatedly in Syria this week, say U.S. officials cited by Agence France-Presse.
At least three of the giant aircraft arrived at the airport in Latakia on the Mediterranean coast over the past several days, said officials on Tuesday.
Two of the aircraft were An-124 Condor heavy-lift transport aircraft and the third was a commercial jet, said one official. CBS News said all three were Condors.
