There was heavy fighting in the capital of Somalia after insurgents attacked a number of government targets in northern Mogadishu on Saturday and Sunday, Bloomberg News reports.
At least 15 people were killed and 30 wounded when Al-Shabaab fighters battled government troops and African Union peacekeepers at the presidential palace and army bases. Most of the casualties were around the Bakara market, medical officials said.
