Heavy Fighting Breaks Out In Mogadishu

At least two people have been killed in the Somali capital of Mogadishu, reports London-based Mareeg.
Heavy fighting took place Thursday between the transitional government forces and Al-Shabaab fighters, said witnesses.
Civilian casualties mounted on Thursday, with AFP reporting 17 dead.
Al-Shabaab reportedly attacked the African Union mission and government bases near the former Defense Ministry building.
