Headquarters Unit Gets 30-Day Extension

The Pentagon has extended for 30 days the deployment of a division headquarters unit in Iraq, reports the Army News Service.

The Division Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, which makes up the headquarters of U.S. Division-North in Iraq, will transfer authority to the 4th Infantry Division in early November instead of early October as previously planned, officials said.
