The head of the newly created Space Development Agency has resigned, reports Space News. The Space Development Agency was established by former acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan on March 12 as part of efforts to develop space capabilities. Fred Kennedy submitted his resignation to Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Mike Griffin, whose portfolio includes the SDA, on June 19.
