Head Of Army Loses Job

President Alexander Lukashenko has removed the head of the Belarusian ground forces, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
On Tuesday, the president signed the decree relieving Maj. Gen. Alexander Nikitin, according to the presidential press service.
Nikitin had commanded the army since July 2006.
