Harsh Weather Hurts Rescue Work

A blizzard on a Himalayan glacier is hampering efforts of more than 450 rescuers working to find Pakistani troops buried last weekend by an avalanche, reports Agence France-Presse.
Low temperatures have hurt the effectiveness of heavy machinery being used at the Gayari base on Siachen Glacier, military officials said on Friday.
High-altitude teams from the U.S., Germany and Switzerland have arrived at the remote site, while units from China and Norway are expected to arrive...
