The British air force and navy have accepted into service the Paveway IV precision-guided bomb, reports the U.K. Ministry of Defense.
The weapon will equip Harrier GR9, Tornado GR4, Eurofighter Typhoon and eventually Joint Strike Fighter aircraft.
The Paveway IV provides day-and-night precision attack capabilities and can utilize global positioning system (GPS), satellite or laser guidance.
