Harbin Aircraft Orders Avionics From Collins Aerospace For AC312 Multirole Helos

China-based AVIC Harbin Aircraft Industries (HAIC) inked a contract with Collins Aerospace for additional shipsets of avionics systems for its AC312 series of multirole helicopters, reports the U.S. firm,

Under the contract, the value of which was not disclosed, Collins Aerospace will provide seven avionics shipsets, each consisting of a modern cockpit display and communication, navigation and surveillance (CNS) equipment for increased surveillance and safety, Collins said in a Tuesday release.

The deal is an extension of a long-term contract signed in 2015 for 100 shipsets.
