Haqqani Network Targeted In Khost

A joint Afghan and international security force targeted a Haqqani militant network Monday in Khost province in eastern Afghanistan, NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) reports.

The combined force searched a compound in the Sabari district north of Khost City after receiving an intelligence tip, NATO military officials said.
