The Palestinian militant group Hamas has rejected an Egyptian-mediated proposal to reconcile with its rival Fatah, reports the Voice of America News.
Hamas and several other Syria-based Palestinian factions issued a joint statement Thursday saying they would not sign the unity deal unless it is changed to include a clause asserting the right of Palestinians to resist Israeli occupation.
