Forces loyal to Libyan commander Khalifa Haftar have attacked oil ports controlled by the U.N.-backed unity government, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Haftar, a former army general who opposes the unity government, leads what is called the Libyan National Army (LNA).
On Sunday, the LNA began an offensive against five key oil facilities and ports, said a spokesman for force. Haftar is loyal to a rival government in Tobruk.
