A group of militants disguised as policemen attacked a hospital in the Pakistani city of Lahore on Tuesday morning in an attempt to reach a comrade, Reuters reports.
The attackers killed at least a dozen people and held several more hostage before escaping, police said. Other accounts put the death toll at five ore more.
The men were apparently trying to reach the intensive-care unit, where another militant was being held after attacking two Ahmadi mosques on Friday.
