Authorities in Mali say Sunday's jihadist attack in the capital left several people dead, reports the New York Times.
Unidentified gunmen stormed a camping resort outside Bamako on Sunday, killing two people, said a security ministry official.
A hostage situation ensued, noted Fox News.
Security forces rescued 36 guests, including 13 French citizens, according to one account.
