Islamist gunmen have killed four police officers in an attack in Pakistan's northwestern Baluchistan province, reports Reuters.

The superintendent of police was among the dead.

Four attackers riding motorcycles opened fire on the vehicle of Superintendent Mubarak Shah, killing him and three bodyguards, said police.
