Gun For 5th-Generation Fighter Will Be Tested Soon

Plans call for Russia's stealth fighter to begin flight tests of its onboard cannon later this year, reports Rostec, the Russian arms and technology holding company.
The modernized 9A1-4071K cannon has already been tested on the Su-27SM fighter.
Development work to integrate the cannon with the PAK-FA is underway, with flight tests expected later in 2015, said a Rostec release on Tuesday.
