The U.S. Army is expanding a program that offers some National Guard and Army Reserve officers an opportunity to obtain an active-duty position, reports the Army Times.
The Call to Active Duty (CAD) program is open to lieutenants of the Individual Ready Reserve, as well as basic-branch guard and reserve captains, majors and lieutenant colonels.
