The British Royal Navy has confirmed a new submarine that had run aground off the Isle of Skye in October was further damaged in a tugboat collision.
HMS Astute was damaged in a collision with a coast guard tug coming to rescue it, Agence France-Presse reports.
The boat was freed on Oct. 22 after its rudder got stuck during sea trials off the Scottish coast.
