Turkish troops have crossed into northern Iraq in pursuit of Kurdish militants, reports the Anadolu Agency (Turkey).
On Tuesday, two special operations units consisting of 230 troops entered northern Iraq, said a military source.
The move was "a short-term measure" aimed at preventing the escape of members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) responsible for recent attacks, said a source cited by AFP.
Fifteen police were killed in two bombings in the eastern provinces....
