Griffon Multirole Vehicles Undergo Hot-Weather Trials In Djibouti

French forces in Djibouti have been evaluating the new Griffon wheeled armored combat vehicle in hot weather conditions in Djibouti, reports Defence Web (South Africa).
Two Griffons were embedded with the 5th Overseas Interarms Regiment from Sept. 10 to Sept. 20, said the French Armed Forces Ministry.
The trials assessed the impact of hot weather on components including the chassis, weapon system, cupola and GPS link and included the test-firing of the 12.7-mm gun and smoke grenade...
