Two young girls playing on the outskirts of Peshawar, Pakistan, on Wednesday were killed in a hand-grenade attack, the Dawn (Pakistan) reports.
An unknown attacker threw the grenade at a group of children playing near a house under construction, said police. Two young boys were also injured in the attack.
The girls' father said the attack was made because he refused to pay "protection money," reported the BBC.
