At least one person has been killed and 28 injured in a grenade attack on a bus station in India-administered Kashmir, reports the Press Trust of India.
On Thursday, an attacker threw a grenade under a bus in downtown Jammu, police told the Indo-Asian News Service.
Police said they arrested a suspect, reported NDTV (India). The man belonged to Hizbul Mujahedin and confessed to the crime, officials said.
This was the third attack on a bus stand in the city since May.
Tensions remain high weeks after an attack by Jaish-e-Mohammed killed 40 Indian paramilitaries.
New Delhi blames Pakistan for stoking extremism and secessionist sentiments in the region and turning a blind eye to militant groups that attack Indians.
