The Army has charged a decorated Green Beret with premeditated murder for the killing of an Afghan man in February 2010, reports NBC News. Army Special Operations Command announced the charges against Maj. Matthew Golsteyn on Thursday, reported the Army Times. The charges are being reviewed to determine whether he will face an Article 32 hearing that could result in a court martial. Golsteyn's lawyer said he could face the death penalty if convicted.
