Government Suspends Membership In CSTO Military Bloc

The Uzbekistan government has decided to suspend its participation in the activities of the Russian-led Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), reports RIA Novosti.
The CSTO is a multinational military alliance dating to 1992.
An official note has been sent by the governmentto the CSTO secretariat announcing the decision, said an unnamed diplomatic source.
