Government Signs Up With Rapid-Reaction CSTO Force

Reversing course, Belarus has joined the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) rapid-reaction force, BelaPAN reports.
Belarusian diplomats submitted the official papers on Tuesday in Moscow, pledging to contribute a contingent of some 5,000 troops to the Collective Rapid Response Force (CRRF).
The troops will come from Belarus' special task brigade, a counter-terrorist unit, a special task unit from the Interior Ministry and a unit from the Emergency Management...
