Government Seeks To Control Migrant Inflow; Barbed Wire Ready If Needed

Austrian officials have announced that a fence will be built on the country's border with Slovenia to manage migrants and refugees, reports Reuters.
The construction of a 3.7-km (2.2-mi) fence at the Spielfeld crossing was among several measures announced Friday by Austrian Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner.
The announcement came two days after Slovenia began similar moves with its border with Croatia, noted Deutsche Welle.
