Government Says It Stopped Planned Coup

The government of the Ivory Coast says it has prevented a planned coup by exiled military officers linked to former Ivorian President Laurent Gbagbo, reports the Voice of America News.
Authorities have arrested several people, including Col. Kate Gnatoa, the alleged leader, who was on Gbagbo's presidential guard, Interior Minister Hamed Bakayoko said on state television late Tuesday.
