The U.S. has officially rejoined the Paris Climate Accord, fulfilling one of the Biden administration’s early foreign policy pledges, reports CNN.
On Friday, Washington formally rejoined the pact, 30 days after President Biden signed an executive order kicking off the process.
Former President Trump announced in mid-2017 that the U.S. would withdraw from the climate treaty, but that decision only took effect in November 2019, noted NBC News.
