The Romanian Defense Ministry has suspended the planned acquisition of four new warships due to irregularities in the project, reports the Romania-Insider.
The defense ministry has informed military prosecutors there were “reasonable suspicions” about the legality of the procedure and expressed national security concerns, said a ministry release on Friday.
