Government Outlaws HTI, Calling Islamist Group Threat To National Unity

The Indonesian government has banned a hardline Islamist group to protect the nation's "unity," reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
Hizb ut-Tahrir (HTI) was outlawed on Wednesday under a presidential decree signed last week that authorizes such actions against groups seen as a threat to national unity, said officials.
