The Sudanese Sovereignty Council has ordered the establishment of joint security forces to improve security in the country, reports the Sudan Tribune (Paris).
On June 17, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo Hemetti, the vice chairman of the Sovereignty Council and chairman of the National Implementation Follow-Up Committee for the Juba Peace Agreement announced that Lt. Gen. Yasir Al-Atta had been tasked with forming the joint forces.
