Government Forces Use Airborne Tactics To Take Town From ISIS

The Kremlin has reported on Monday that Syrian army forces conducted an airborne assault to take a town from the Islamic State last week, according to Tass (Russia).
Government forces made a tactical landing operation from Aug. 11-12 behind Islamic State lines in the town of Al-Kadri, about 75 miles west of Deir Ezzor, said a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.
