Government Forces Bring Fight To ISIS In Nangarhar, Baghlan

Afghan security forces have killed more than two dozen militants in northern and eastern Afghanistan, say local officials, as reported by Xinhua, China's state news agency.

The operations held over the last day targeted militants loyal to the Islamic State. Fifteen militants were killed in the Achin district of the eastern Nangarhar province on Wednesday, said provincial police officials on Thursday.

Seven other militants were reported injured in the ongoing operation.
