China—Government Denies Installing Fiber-Optic Cables On Disputed Border

The Chinese government has denied reports that it is laying fiber-optic cables along its disputed border with India, reports Reuters. On Monday, two Indian officials told the news service that Chinese troops had been spotted laying cables south of Pangong Tso lake in Ladakh.
