The South Korean presidency has denied that it has pressured the military to consider buying F-35B short-takeoff-and-vertical-landing (STOVL) stealth jets outside of normal acquisition processes, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
Following a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in April, the South Korean National Security Office called in an air force official to discuss a potential F-35B purchase, an opposition lawmaker told the JoongAng Daily newspaper on Thursday.
