Government Declines To Join French Special Ops Mission In Mali

The Norwegian government has decided that it will not send troops to Mali to participate in a planned multinational special operations task force, reports defense-aerospace.com.
On Monday, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense announced the decision not to join Task Force Takuba, a French-led special operations force intended to bolster the Malian military.
France asked Norway and other European countries to contribute troops for the mission.
