The government in the United Arab Emirates is reducing its support for Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar, reports the New Arab (London).
Two of Haftar's sons recently visited Abu Dhabi for negotiations, which led to the Emirati government slashing financial and military support for the warlord, sources said.
This included the withdrawal of about 5,000 Chadian and Sudanese mercenaries that had been funded by the Emirates, the sources said.
