The Turkish government has indicated it is considering creating a humanitarian corridor inside Syria to protect and provide aid for refugees fleeing the uprising and crackdown there, reports the Hurriyet Daily News.
Such a move would only be made after observing further developments in the region, said an unnamed Turkish Foreign Ministry official.
There are more than 10,000 people along the border between Syria and Turkey, the official said on Thursday.
